Single Source Health & Safety and SafetySkills are excited to offer a convenient and affordable CPR & First Aid training solution - Red Cross CPR & First Aid blended training.

What steps are involved in Red Cross blended training?

  1. Administrators assign either the Red Cross CPR/AED or CPR/AED/First Aid course to their employee's SafetySkills LMS account. Each course has an option for adult skills only or adult, infant, and child skills.
  2. Employees login to the SafetySkills LMS to complete the online portion of the Red Cross course. Courses can be completed over multiple online sessions spread over several days.
  3. Administrators contact Single Source Health & Safety to schedule a day and time for the onsite classroom-based portion of the Red Cross course.
  4. Employees complete the classroom-based skills practice and evaluation portions of the Red Cross course.

How long does it take to complete the course?

The online portion of the course takes approximately 2-3 hours to complete depending on the specific course assigned. The classroom-based skills evaluation will be completed in about 1 1/2 hours.
